{"id":330,"date":"2025-04-15T13:52:37","date_gmt":"2025-04-15T03:52:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.clubvotecount.com\/blog\/?p=330"},"modified":"2026-05-18T14:37:40","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T04:37:40","slug":"april-2025-update-download-and-print-your-finalised-vote-counts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.clubvotecount.com\/blog\/april-2025-update-download-and-print-your-finalised-vote-counts\/","title":{"rendered":"April 2025 Update: Download and Print Your Finalised Vote Counts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The latest update to Club Vote Count adds a feature many clubs have asked for: the ability to download and print finalised vote counts, directly from the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you&#8217;re putting together records for the club archives, or helping your MC deliver a seamless presentation on vote count night, you can now export everything in just a couple of clicks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Can Do Now<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For any <strong>finalised vote count<\/strong>, you can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Download<\/strong> your data as an MS Excel spreadsheet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Print<\/strong> the full vote tally<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access these features <strong>round-by-round<\/strong> and <strong>award-by-award<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How It Works<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a vote count is finalised, download options become available in two key areas of the system:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <strong>Round-by-Round Screen<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to your <strong>Honour Board<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open any finalised count<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll to the <strong>Leaderboard<\/strong>, and click <strong>Round-by-Round<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the bottom of the screen, you\u2019ll see both <strong>Print<\/strong> and <strong>Download<\/strong> options<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is especially useful if your MC prefers a paper copy on the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clubvotecount.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-1-1024x648.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-327\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clubvotecount.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-2-1024x651.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-328\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>Precounted Votes Screen<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the <strong>Precounted Votes<\/strong> screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select any finalised vote count<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>Download<\/strong> button will appear in the Control Section<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Click to download the spreadsheet. It will save to your browser\u2019s default download location\u2014usually the \u201cDownloads\u201d folder. From there, you can move it wherever you like, including into your club\u2019s shared storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clubvotecount.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-1024x728.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-326\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spreadsheet Format<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The exported spreadsheet will contain two or three tabs, depending on your voting setup:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Leaderboard Tab<\/strong> \u2013 a final summary of player standings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Votes Tab<\/strong> \u2013 round-by-round votes (if using one judge)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Combined Votes Tabs<\/strong> \u2013 if multiple judges voted, you&#8217;ll get two extra tabs:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Votes by Judge<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Votes Combined by Player per Round<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These additional views are designed to support your MC in preparing and delivering the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>This update won\u2019t change the way you run your vote counts\u2014but it will make it easier to keep clean records, provide backup copies, and support your presenters on the night.
